Hernando County Fine Arts Council The Hernando County Fine Arts Council encourages, promotes & supports all the creative arts. It was established by Resolution #87-31 Hernando County Government. It is composed of 15 members appointed by the Hernando County Commission and meets on the 4th Thursday of each month (Exception: one meeting for Nov. & Dec. on the 1st Thursday of December.) Hernando Hills Hi-Lites of Harmony, Inc. Hernando Hills Hi Lites women's chorus is Hernando County's only women's barbershop chorus, and is a chartered chapter of Harmony, Inc., an international organization of women dedicated to promoting the unique North American art form of singing a cappella, 4-part harmony in barbershop style. The chorus holds an annual show, "Harmony on Parade" annually and performs for many community events and organizations. The not-for-profit chorus supports causes for the autistic.
