Effective
April 18, 2011 Hernando County will post all Bids, RFP's, RFQ's, RFI's
and Quotes through the Florida Online Bid System at
www.FloridaBidSystem.com . Please use the "Vendor Registration" link
(on FloridaBidSystem.com) to complete the on-line registration. Any currently registered
vendors to this system do not need to re-register separately for
Hernando County.

Purchasing and Contracts is responsible for the purchase of products and services for all Departments under the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners. This includes all aspects of the purchase from the receipt of the department's requisition to issuance of a purchase order or contract. The following agencies are at liberty to utilize the Purchasing and Contracts Department, however these agencies have the option to maintain an independent procurement function:
